BIERS, Wallace Earl (Wally); Peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Tuesday December 2, 2008 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Peggy Biers of Arthur. Dear father of Robert (Sherry) Biers of Bridgewater, N.S., Susan Rutty of Scarborough, Dianne (David) Boyle of Brampton and Charles (Linda) Biers of Calgary, Alb. Dear father to Linda (Doug) White of Scarborough. Loving grandpa of fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Survived by sister Eleanor (Ken) Martin of Puslinch Twp., sister-in-law Mary Biers of Cochrane and brother-in-law Jerry (Susie) McQueen of Texas. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Charlotte and Shiela, brothers Harold, Kenneth, Robert and Raymond. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Thursday December 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. auspices Prince Arthur Lodge, Arthur and a Legion Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. auspices Arthur Legion Branch #226 , both on Thursday evening in the funeral home. The funeral service will be held in the Crawford Chapel on Friday December 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
