GREER, Victor Roy; To be with his Lord, peacefully at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on July 25, 2009 in his 97th year. After sixty-five years of marriage he will be sadly missed and remembered by his wife Bertha Greer of Simcoe. Loving father of Fern Hogan of Simcoe. Fondly remembered and survived by brother-in-law Clarence Orr of Fort Erie and nieces Claire (Ed) Climenhage of Fort Erie and Elaine Presnell of Dundurn, Sask. He will be missed by his many relatives and freinds. Predeceased by his parents William and Isabella (Colwill) Greer, infant daughter Inez, sister Isla Orr, son-in-law Brian Hogan and sister-in-law Grace Robinson. Victor was formerly of West Luther Township where he farmed for many years and was a lifetime active member of Monck Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Wednesday July 29, 2009 from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Tim Medhurst officiating.
