POWELL, Nell; Peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Thursday July 30, 2009 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Gord Powell (1993). Dear mother of Dan (Lori) Powell of Kingston, Tony (Denise) Powell of Victoria, B.C., Donna (Rick) Graham of Cold Lake, Alb. and Jackie Powell-Loree of Guelph. Loving grandma of fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Survived by four brothers and one sister. Predeceased by brother Tony Lekx. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Sunday August 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Arthur United Church 101 Tucker St., Arthur on Monday August 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur to follow. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in Nell’s care during her various treatments and hospital stays.
