GREEN, Sam; Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Sunday March 21, 2010 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Peg Green (1998). Cherished father of Sandra (Bill) and Susan (Stan). Dear father to Maureen (Roy), Peter (Ruth) and Jon (Prima). Sam will be sadly missed by his fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Doug, sisters Myrtle, Mary, Doris and Mildred and stepdaughter Joan. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Tuesday March 23, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A legion service will be held auspices Arthur Legion Branch # 226 on Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home. The funeral service will be held from the Crawford Chapel on Wednesday March 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Remembrances to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
