McARTHUR, Ruth Lascelles; It is with heavy hearts and great sadness the family announces the passing of Ruth at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Friday October 14, 2011 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd McArthur (2005). Dear mother of David and Robyn McArthur of Arthur, Heather and David Harrison of Caledon, Paul and Wilma McArthur of St. Clements, Jane Gibson and Garry Cantlon of Fergus and Margot and Bruce McCormack of Rockwood. Loving grandmother of Allison, David, Scott, Adam, Meaghan, Derek, Sarah, Greg and Sheryl. Great grandmother to Hazel, Gabrielle, Georgia, Carly, Paige and Jake. Survived by her brothers Ken (Rhoda) Waters of Kenilworth and Milton (Marjorie) Waters of Arthur. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Ethel Waters, sister Marian Leaver and brother Mervin Waters. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Monday October 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Arthur United Church 101 Tucker St. , Arthur on Tuesday October 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur to follow.
