HARPER, Richard Kent; Of Owen Sound, formerly of Toronto passed away on August 21, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of Anny Harper for 57 years. Loving father of Mark and Janice, Kathryn and Simon and Glenn and Tracey. Cherished Grandpa of Alanna, Fiona, Marielle, Sylvie, Daniel, Julianne, Tyler and Dylan. Loved brother-in-law of Edward (deceased May 8, 2013) and Norma Dyson, Douglas and Betty Dyson, Norman and Rose Dyson, Dwight and Sonja Dyson and Wayne Dyson. Richard will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Brantford at a later date.. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church 865 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound on Thursday August 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. If you so desire, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.
