Lois Jean Brown (Rogers)
of Drayton passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of William Brown for 58 years. Cherished mother of Mark and Sherry Brown of Belleville, Karen and Ted Riehl of Beamsville, Gordon and Lois Brown of R.R. # 3 Palmerston and Joanne and Brian Eng of Mississauga. Dear grandmother of Steven and Heather Brown, Darryl Brown; Jacob Riehl, the late Isaac Riehl (2012); Michelle Brown-McCormick and Alexander Brown; Daniel Eng and Jordan Eng. Great grandmother of Landon, Ethan, Ariana, Lily and Olivia. Sister of Grace and Bill Saul, David and Nancy Rogers, and Donna and Dwight LaPeare. Sister-in-law of Alleda Fischer, Elizabeth and Willis Lyons, Morris and Anna Brown, Katherine Nieman and Gladys Price. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her twin sister Iris Smith and sisters Betty Koebel, Winnifred Bott, Marjorie Dezell, Muriel Waite, Ruth McKeegan and Mary Neuman.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Rev. Ron Pakulat and Rev. Ray Faulkner will conduct the Funeral Service in the Arthur Pentecostal Church, 121 Charles Street, Arthur on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Drayton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Bible Society or the Gideons would be appreciated by the family.
