Russell James McGuire
of Palmerston and formerly of Wingham and Listowel passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Jean McGuire (nee Bramhill) for 64 years. Cherished father of Larry McGuire of Kitchener, Lee McGuire and Maxene Raices of Atlanta, Elmer McGuire and Cathy Lawson of London and Bryan and Angie McGuire of Listowel. Fondly remembered by his many grand and great-grandchildren. Brother and brother-in-law of Vernon and Freda McGuire of Thornbury, Ralph and Doreen McGuire of Thornbury and Walter and Birdie McGuire of Collingwood, Roy and Marlyn Bramhill of Palmerston, Percy and Rhoda Bramhill of Cambridge and Jim Johnston of Seaforth. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home Palmerston on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. when Pastor Bob Bramhill will conduct the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Royal Terrace Residents Council or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
