Joseph Patrick Walsh
of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Elaine (Finch) Walsh. Brother of John Walsh of Arthur, Michael Walsh of Arthur and Francis and Claude Tye of Oakville. Predeceased by his sister Mary and her husband Ambros Wolsley. Fondly remembered by his step children John and Pat Finch of Blue Mountains, Carol Stevenson of Rockwood as well as his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, step grandchildren and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church Arthur on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in St. John’s Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be recited in the Funeral Home on Friday at 6:30 p.m. As expression of sympathy donations to the St. John’s Cemetery fund would be appreciated by the family.
