Anne-Marie Parker
(nee McDermott)
of Durham passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in her 78th year. Cherished daughter of the late William and Marie (Harrett) McDermott. Much loved sister of Norma McDermott and the late Heinz Poenn of Holland Landing, Paul and Lynda McDermott of Richmond Hill and Colleen (McDermott) and Bill Miller of Barrie. Predeceased by her twin brother William John in infancy. Fondly remembered by her niece, nephews Natalie-Anne, Doug, Brad, great nieces and nephews Christopher, Shane, Renee, Kyle, Shylo and also by her great great nieces Kasey and Madison.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Arthur on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in St. John’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
