Harold William Ellis
of R.R. # 2 Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Nancy Ellis and the late Evelyn Ellis (1970). Dear father of Garry and Sami Ellis, Paul and Pam Ellis all of R.R. # 2 Moorefield and Daryle Ellis and Terrie of Harriston. Cherished grandfather of Wendy and Lloyd Peart of Cambridge, Becky and Sean Kaiser of London and Craig Ellis and Krystal of Oshawa; Blake Ellis of Thompson Manitoba, Wade and Melissa Ellis of Guelph and Crystal Ellis of Moorefield; Desirae Ellis and Amberly Ellis both of Harriston. Great grandfather of Rhea, Ella, Eli, Inessa, Matthew, Victoria, Jeremy, Briar, Reid and Georgia. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Annie Ellis, one son Vaughn in infancy and one sister Marlene.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Moorefield United Church on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11 am.
Spring interment in Bethesda Cemetery.
