Maryann Sohm (nee Gerber)

of Newton peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in her 60th year.  Beloved wife of Fred Sohm for 36 years.  Loving mother of Christine and Ron Good of Palmerston, Rosetta and Jared Martin of Listowel, Emily and Jay Brubacher of Moorefield and Steven Sohm of Newton.  Dearest grandmother of Jazmyn, Nicholas, Kaycee, Karson and Jessica; Madison, Alexis, Iyla and Liam; Nicole and Sierra.  Sister of Floyd and Irene Gerber, Kenneth and Naomi Gerber and Delmer and Miriam Gerber. Daughter-in-law of Clara Sohm.  Sister-in-law of Harvey and Sharon Sohm, Ernie and Linda Sohm, Milton Sohm, Donna Kurfiss, Robert and Leanne Sohm and Susan and Ray Reschke.  Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by her parents Roy and Madeline (Jantzi) Gerber, father-in-law John Sohm and sister-in-law Mary Jane Gerber.

Maryann was a member of the Brookside Conservative Mennonite Church where she faithfully served along side her husband in his ministry.

Family and friends are invited for visitation and viewing at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship,6449 Wellington County Road 11, Moorefield, Ontario, N0G 2K0 on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
