John Albert Norman Smethurst
1950 – 2022
John Smethurst of Palmerston, Ontario passed away peacefully at the Palmerston & District Hospital on February 9, 2022. Predeceased by his parents John and Vera Smethurst and his sister Jaqueline Tooker. John is survived by his daughter Jaqueline Smethurst, two sons Sterling and Kelly and one nephew Douglas Tooker. John will be missed by his partner Jan Seymour and her family. Due to covid restrictions, a private on-line Service was held.
Thank-you to Rev. Christian for her time spent in Hospital with John as well as the comforting Service provided for the family.
The family sends a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Deacon and Dr. Norman as well as each and every member of the hospital staff who provided superior care and compassion to John and his family.
