Lucas Rumph
of Palmerston and formerly of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Monday, March 10, 2025 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Mia Rumph (2017)for 53 years. Cherished father of the late Terrance Rumph(2023) and Beth-Anne Rumph of Moorefield, Robert and Carolyn Rumph of Listowel, Brian and Kimberly Rumph of Moorefield, SherryAnn and Gary Van Ankum of Arthur, Patricia and Jacob Vanderkuylen of Atwood, Bruce and Jennifer Rumph of Moorefield, Jennifer and Darryl Kuepfer of Moorefield and Miranda and Mike Schill of Arthur. Grandfather to his 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Fondly remember by his brothers, sisters, and in-laws: Hank Rumph, Pat and Bill Hessels, Hilbert and Jannie Rumph, Hilly Welmers, Helen and Menno van der Vinne, Albert and Martha Rumph, and Larry Brower. Predeceased by his parents Thys and Annigje Rumph, sister Anne Brower, brother-in-law Bill Welmers and sister-in-law Grace Rumph. Fondly remembered by the Donkersgoed family.
The family will receive friends at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church, Main Street Drayton on Thursday March 13 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Pastor Wes Collins will conduct the Funeral Service in the Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
