Lisa Marie Romadenko-Aalbers
of Drayton passed away suddenly in Southampton on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the age of 46. Loving wife and best friend of Nick Aalbers for 10 years. Cherished mother of Logan. Dear daughter of Thomas and Cathy Romadenko. Granddaughter of Mary Romadenko. Daughter-in-law of Jacobus Aalbers and the late Beverley Aalbers. Sister-in-law of Jackie and Jordie Civiero and Chris and Asheley Aalbers. Lisa will be fondly remembered by her Godparents Nancy and Brad Emery along with nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her grandparents Norm and Thelma Evans and Andreas Romadenko.
Lisa attended EC Drury High School in Milton and then went on to earn degrees in Halifax, A Bachelor of Science/Psychology at Dalhouise and Human Resource Management at St Mary’s. She enjoyed working as a recruiter throughout the years.
Lisa loved her son Logan he was the light of her life, he brought her joy everyday. She loved organizing parties and playdates for the kids. The more the merrier! She had a great sense of humor, infectious laugh and loved to have dance parties. She was always “doing the do” if you asked how she was.
Lisa had a lifelong love of animals and was devoted to her pets, many that were rescues. Her furbabies Roxy, Hannah and Eva will miss her.
To honour Lisa’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
