David Perry
of Fergus and formerly Rothsay passed away suddenly on September 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Carole (Bentley) Perry (2015). Loving father of Darleen James and the late Robert James of Stroud, Brian and Michelle Perry of Fergus, Theressa and Phil Farrugia of Saskatchewan, Tim and Robin Sapiano of Orangeville and Carolyn Andreacchi and Tony Freitas of Niagara on the Lake. Cherished grandfather of Chris, Ryan, Danielle, Simon, Christian, Chelsea, Connor, Brooklynn and Kyla. Predeceased by two grandsons Shawn and Shayne. Great grandfather of Shaylyn, Shawn and Lane. Fondly remembered by his 2 brothers, 2 sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eilean (Poirier) Perry and 5 sisters and 1 brother.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 12 Union Street, Drayton on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers Mass Cards would be appreciated by the family.
