Dorothy Eileen King (nee Boyer)
of Kitchener and formerly of Moorefield, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in her 94th year. Dear mother of Debbie and Ray Nelson of Kitchener, Sandra and Gerry Lambier of Palmerston and the late Sherri-Lee Murray (2014). Mother-in-law of Stephen Murray of Collingwood. Loving grandmother of Ryan and Andrea Nelson; Krista Lambier, Michelle Lambier, Darrin and Amanda Lambier, Danielle Lambier, Devon Lambier, Erika Lambier, Alexis and Brandon Harper; Brandon Murray and Shayne Murray. Cherished great grandmother to 23. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Ena (Henderson) Boyer, brothers and sisters-in-law Bruce and Agnes Boyer, Doug Boyer, Gordon and Lila Mae “Betty” Boyer and Ruthven “Rudy” Boyer.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held in the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
