Murray Good
Murray, in his 50th year passed from his earthly home into his heavenly home, on December 5, 2025, at 5:20 A.M. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Brubacher) Good, whom he married on April 29, 2000.
He was the loving father of Janette & Mitchell Frey of Mactier, Sharla & Charles Brubacher of Moorefield, Jeffrey, Travis, Katelyn, Zachary, and Angelia. Cherished Grandpa of Logan Frey.
Murray was the dearly loved son of Harold and Donna Good of Listowel, and son in law of Issac and Alma Brubacher of Moorefield. Brother of Roger and Karen Good, Delphine and Rob Bowman, Daryl and Tina Good, Carl and Shana Good, Ronald and Christine Good. Brother-in-law to Brian and Monica Bowman, Miriam and Jason Gingrich, Leslie and Sharlene Brubacher, Lavina and Roland Sauder, Jonathan and Melody Brubacher, Loretta and Dereck Peters, and Kevin and Angelina Brubacher. Predeceased by sister Marilyn (Good) Bowman, niece Charlene, maternal grandparents Merlin and Erma Bender, Paternal grandparents Aaron and Mary Good.
Murray courageously fought a battle of cancer for 2 years. He invested deeply in the lives of others as pastor at Living Hope, owner of Best Route trucking, and even in sickness he blessed the doctors and nurses with his humour and interest in their lives. He faithfully provided for his family physically and spiritually and had a passion for young people who came into his life.
We as a family are deeply grateful to the church family, community, friends and relatives for their care and support during this time. A special thanks to the Listowel Health team, Care Partners and Oasis of Hope Hospital for their professional care in this health journey.
The viewing will take place at the Moorefield Mennonite Fellowship, 102 McGivern Street, Moorefield on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, 6449 Wellington County Road 11, Moorefield, Ontario, N0G 2K0 on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with Living Hope Mennonite Church officiating.
