It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Francis Benkhe. He was born on January 18th 1964 in Pembroke Ontario and found peacefully passed in his home at the age of 62, in Palmerston Ontario on January 21, 2026.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his former wife Jaqueline Marie Benkhe and his children Katherine Zantingh (Madison Zantingh), Lowell Benkhe, and Laura Benkhe (Travis Soehner). Grandchildren Sunny Nnaka, Aria and Rory Zantingh. His siblings Dianna Farmer (Clem Farmer), Roxanna Bailey, Melody O’Reilly (Daniel O’Reilly), and Ricky Benkhe. His In-Laws Eric and Iris Wedseltoft, Michele Franklin (Richard Kuiak), and Andre Wedseltoft (Janet Wedseltoft). Nephews and Nieces Lora Farmer (Herb Tilbury), Conrad Farmer (April Cannon), Guy Farmer (Carrie Campbell Farmer), Terra Stone (Anthony Stone), Elizabeth Bailey, Robert Thalhofer a(Sharon Thalhofer), Candace Katerynych (Casey Katerynych), Rob Emery, Emily Benkhe, Owen Benkhe, Victoria Coop, Mike Burns (Rebecca Burns), Abigail Farncombe (Jeff Farncombe), Gordon Franklin (Amanda Franklin), and Sydney Wedseltoft.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Robert (Bob) Benkhe and Elma Benkhe.
Details of Roberts Remembrance Ceremony will be shared with the Benkhe family in the spring of 2026. An event page will be posted on Facebook and emailed to all members with details of the ceremony set to happen in Algonquin Park.
