Winnifred (Pinkie) Williams
(nee Dines) of Terra Cotta, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2015 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late George Williams. Dear mother of Maureen and her husband George Evenden of Wasaga Beach, Lynda and her husband Joseph Drake of Glen Williams, Georgina and her husband Maurice Deforest of Terra Cotta, and Keith Williams and his wife Joanne of Brampton. Loving Grandma of Debbie Nixon and her fiancé Dan of Wasaga Beach, Bill Drake of Georgetown, Lisa and her husband Anthony Farrugia of Georgetown, Lorraine and her husband Dave Pannabaker of Glen Williams, Scott Deforest and his wife Alison of Georgetown, Darrin Deforest and his wife Jody of Erin, Christy and her husband Jason Ryan of Brampton and Katie and her husband Scott Turner of Brampton. Loved great grandma of Trevor Nixon, Christiana and Jordan Drake; Sarah and Amy Farrugia; Jake and Mitchell Pannabaker; Adam, Aidan and Jessica Deforest; Mason and Owen Jessica Deforest; Melanie and Kailey Ryan; Jonathon and Matthew Turner. Fondly remembered by her twin sister Madeline (Blue) and her husband Alfred Brice of England. Sister-in-law of Mabel Williams of Palmerston, Leonard Tucker and Margaret Dines both of England. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter Doreen in infancy, great grandsons Taylor Nixon and Nathan Deforest in infancy, one brother John Dines, sister Rita Tucker, step sisters “Sis” Grey, Dora and Sid Harman sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lula and Carman Kaye, Doreen and Bob McCormick and Gerald Williams.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the evening from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Harriston Cemetery.
