Richard Lubberts
was born on October 11, 1923 in Westerbork, Drenthe, the Netherlands and went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Holland Christian Homes, Brampton in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Klasina Lubberts (2013) for 53 years. Loving brother and brother-in-law of his twin sister Grace and her husband Karl Biel, Jantje Nienhuis, Grietje Lubberts, Arie and Johanna Pekel, Bertus and Klasina Pekel and Berend Stam, Predeceased by his brother Geert Lubberts and sister Femmie and her husband Willem Katerberg sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jacob Nienhuis, Roelie and her husband Jan Koekoek, Hielkje Stam, Geertje and her husband Doede ter Veld, Jan Pekel and Henk Pekel. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Drayton Cemetery.
