Lorraine Ney
(nee Whiteside) of Arthur passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert John Ney (2001). Loving mother of Paula Ney and Don Woodward of Bracebridge, Shann and Rick Leighton of East Garafraxa and Jane and Jerry Paul of Fairview, Alberta. Cherished grandmother of Tanya MacIntosh, Jason and Claudette MacIntosh; Marcus and Shawna Leighton, Matthew and Shannon Leighton, Tammy Parker; Adam and Chelsea Waller, Alicia Waller and Alex Paul. Dear great grandmother of Bridgette, Victoria, Michael, Daniel, Owen, Hannah, Gaston, Sylvain, Bauz and Daya. Sister-in-law of Sam Cunningham and Ross Otto. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Lorraine’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of her life will take place at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
