of Waterloo and formerly of Elmira and Wallenstein passed away peacefully at the Village at University Gates on Friday, February 5, 2016 in her 86th year.  Beloved wife of  Clare Hutchinson (2010) for 59 years.  Dear mother of Lynda and Wesley Alexander of Palmerston, Bill and Jane Hutchinson of Wallaceville, Marie Hutchinson of Kitchener, Pix Martin of St. Jacobs, Ed Hutchinson of Elmira, Gord Hutchinson and Shirley Livingston of Yellow Creek Sask. and David Hutchinson and Laurie Frith of Waterloo. Loving Grandmother of Chris Alexander of Edmonton AB., Josh Alexander and his wife Jacqui of Gowanstown and Shannon and her husband David Harris of Cambridge; Laurie Hutchinson and Clint Komenda of Waterloo, Steve Hutchinson and Jennifer of Belmore and Devin and her husband Ryan Walsh of London; Mike Martin of Kinkora and Melissa and Dale Frey of Dornoch; Ashley Hutchinson and Rob Douel of Brampton and Stacey Hutchinson and Steven Wadden of Brampton; Ethan Livingston of Fort McMurray AB.; and Alexis Frith and Nichole Hutchinson of Waterloo. Great Grandma of Kristen and Brandon Alexander,  Jordan and Jillian Alexander; Carson, Brett and Lauren Harris; Bryn and Kaleb Hutchinson, Olivia and Abby Walsh and Neveah Douel. Great great grandma of Koby. Sister of Bruce Wanless and his wife Donna of R.R.#1, Inglewood. Sister-in-law of Blanche Wanless of Palmerston, Ethel McClure of Georgetown and Anna Mae Mosley of Toronto. Predeceased by one son James Hutchinson(1959), one grandson in infancy  and two brothers William and Robert Wanless and sister Bernice Ward. To honour Betty’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service of Remembrance at the Heritage Funeral Home, 267 Main Street West, Palmerston on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.

A Celebration and Visitation will also be held after the Memorial for everyone to attend and share memories with the family at the Palmerston Arena Complex on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Spring interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Village of University Gates or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
