It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richie at his home in Harriston on February 10, 2016 , in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Much loved Dad of Catherine (Stan) Sutter, Mary Jane (Doug) Winger and Kevin (Sybil) Pike. Proud Grandpa/Papa to Carissa (Curtis) Campbell, Courtney Sutter ,Joshua, Jenna and David Winger and Adelaide and Daniel Pike. Great-Grandpa to Caeris Campbell. Brother of Ken and Inez Pike and Phyllis and Terry Richardson. Brother-in-law of Barb and Phil Kovacs and Bruce and Carol Anne Jackson. Predeceased by his sisters Evelyn and Joanna.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Clifford Community Church and Carrick Camp.
Richie was a collector of hit and miss antique engines and antique John Deere tractors. He loved restoring these and showing them at steam shows around Ontario. Richie lived out his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in his participation at Clifford Community Church and member of the board of Carrick Camp.
