John Churchill
of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Erica (Meier) Churchill for 51 years. Dear father of Tracy and her husband Michael Carnegie of Ancaster and Cameron Churchill of Hamilton. Dearly missed grandfather of Sonya, Elyse and Seraphina. Loving brother of Patricia Howard and Michael Churchill. Brother-in-law of Mary Churchill and Hedy and Wally Chute. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sister Lois Stevens and brother James Churchill. Special thanks to the staff at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home for the care and compassion that they showed for the past four months.
To honour John’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 3 to 5 p.m. with remembrances at 4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Lung Association, Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
