Sterenka, Alice Mary
of Arthur passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Steranka and partner of the late Bill Waddell. Loving mother to her seven children Elaine and Laurie Kacsmar of Saskatchewan, Wayne and Patsy Steranka of Marsville, Steve and Jocelyn Steranka of Mississauga, Darlene Steranka and Terry Bedard of Exeter, Gary Steranka of Priceville, Richard Steranka and Darlene O’Leary of Grand Valley and Donna-Lee Steranka of Aurora. Cherished Grand Mother of 17 Grand and 14 Great Grandchildren. Sister Evelyn and David Martin of Alberta and sister-in-law Beverly Hunt of Saskatchewan. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Hunt, her brothers Earl, Victor and Dennis Hunt and sister-in-law Antenette Hunt.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel 243 George Street, Arthur, Ontario on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Followed by cremation and private family graveside service.
