Joyce (Jacobje) Kuper (nee Plat)
Formerly of Drayton passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Geert Kuper (2011). Cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Wilma and George Lubberts: Jocelyn and Matt Fox their children the late James (2010), Charlotte and Nixon; Mark and Nardo Lubberts and Daughter Alice; Alison and Will Bohlender and daughter Lea. Albert and Lyne Kuper; Alexis Kuper, Kenneth Kuper; and Nicolaas Kuper; Ingrid and Mike Benning: the late Brian Benning (2023), Janelle and Devin Ellis and children Michaela, Teagan and Declan. Irene and Jim Steenbergen; Scott Steenbergen and Kristin Goetz; and son Bo; Kayla Steenbergen and Matt Gerrie, Taylor Steenbergen and Cody Weppler and son Carter; Jeffrey and Chelsea Steenbergen and son Clyde. Gary and Barb Kuper; Haylee Kuper, Rylan Kuper, Matthew Kuper and Emme Kuper. Sister of Anna Guit, the late John and Fenna Plat, Lynn and Ralph Haveman, Jeanne Tinholt and Albert and Patricia Plat, and sister in law of Gerda Kuper and Aaltje Willemse of Holland. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may pay their respects at the Drayton Reformed Church, 74 Wellington Street South, on Monday March 10, 2025 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held in the Drayton Reformed Church on Monday at 11:00 am with refreshments and fellowship after. Spring interment in Bethesda Cemetery, Moorefield.
In lieu of flowers donations to the MRI Campaign for Palmerston District Hospital or to the Royal Terrace would be appreciated by the family.
