Anna Maria Aleida Nibourg Arkes
of Elmira and formerly of Drayton passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late “Frans” Franciscus Wilhelmus Nibourg (2010). Anna and Frans were married on February 21, 1952 in Slagharen, Holland. Loving mother of the late Gretha (2006) and Herman (2006) Koel, Hans Nibourg and Helga Acorn, Ina Nibourg, John and Roos Nibourg, Corrie and Jim Palechka, the late Ida Nibourg Budding (1988), Frank and Rosemary Nibourg and the late Gerhard Nibourg (1984). Anna will be remembered by her 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Johannes Gerhardus Arkes and Hendrik Josephina Arkes Sassen.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Drayton, Ontario on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. followed by interment in Drayton Cemetery.
