SAVU, Maria: Peacefully at Caressant Care, Arthur, on Thursday November 15, 2012 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Ion Savu. (1999). Cherished grandmother of Cornel Savu and his wife Lelita of Kenilworth and Viorel Savu and his wife Anna of Kitchener. Sadly missed be her five great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Jonel Savu and his wife Prsuica. Family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St. Arthur, on Friday November 16, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur to follow. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to one’s charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
