SELKE, Audrey Margaret; 1952-2014 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Audrey on Sunday May 25, 2014 at home in Toronto surrounded by her family and friends. Beloved mother of Maurino (Katie) Berry and godmother of Sonya Berry. Loving daughter of Chilton and the late Geraldine (Gainer) Selke. Cherished sister of Michael (Elaine), John (Medy), Frank (Robin) and Larry (Susan). Dear aunt of Christopher (Suyen), Elizabeth (Isham), Andrew, Keisha, Tameka, Chantal and Sean. Great aunt of Treyvon and Taliana. Survived by aunts Mary Gibbons, Sr. Enid Selke, Delphine Condon, Geraldine Selke and Dorothy “Red” Selke and Uncle Don Gibbons. Audrey’s interests included Celtic history and social justice. Her passion for life manifested itself through her work with young children. In accordance with Audrey’s wishes she will be interred with her maternal grandparents Michael and Angela Gainer at St. John the Evangelist R. C. Cemetery, Arthur, Ont. on May 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers a donation to a children’s charity would be appreciated.
